Our Terms & Conditions

A paper with text terms and condition

Our Refund & Cancellation Policy

  1. 1st deposits are refundable for 30 days after their due date. To find the deposit due date, simply find your trip listed on the website "Trips by Date" schedule.  Each trip has due dates listed for each group.  Each request for a refund must be submitted in writing via email to spiritofadventuretravelco@yahoo.com   IF SPIRIT OF ADVENTURE CANCELS A TRIP, WE WILL ONLY ISSUE A FULL REFUND FOR THE FIRST DEPOSIT THAT HAS BEEN RECEIVED.
  2. 1st Deposits are refundable by Spirit of Adventure Travel Co. FOR ANY REASON within 30 days of their initial due date for that specific tour. After the 30 days, the 1st Deposit is no longer refundable.  Example: If your 1st deposit is due on January 1st, you have until January 30th to back out of a trip with a FULL REFUND.  Once you have passed the 30 day window, the 1st Deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.
  3. 2nd Deposits are NOT refundable for any reason.
  4. In the unlikely event that a trip is cancelled by Spirit of Adventure Travel Co., ONLY THE 1ST DEPOSIT WILL BE REFUNDED.  The remaining monies will need to be collected from your travel insurance company.

We strongly encourage our customers to purchase a trip insurance policy.   Please make sure the policy covers trips cancelled "FOR ANY REASON." Reach out to your insurance company for compensation for a cancelled trip.

Anchor Flight & Airline Cancellation Policies

As you go thru the process of getting ready for your trip, we will be purchasing flights for your journey.  Our desire is get everyone together on the same flight. However, that is not always possible as people often fly from different states to the tour destination.  For persons traveling as a group, we will always include the information for the "ANCHOR FLIGHT." This is the date and time of our expected arrival time and the time we will leave our hotel for airport departure.  Please note that if you purchase your own ticket and desire to be picked up from the airport upon arrival, you will need to coordinate your arrival time with this "Anchor Flight." If we act as your agent and purchase your flight, we will be sure to put you at the right airport at the correct time.  If you purchase your own flight and do not fall within the Anchor Flight timeframe, you will be responsible for getting to the hotel on your own.

Please note that AIRLINES do not REFUND money for flights.

Passport Policy

Don’t forget to bring your passport and your airline itinerary with ticket number! You will be traveling with E-tickets. After check-in, you will be given your boarding pass and airline ticket for your flight. Boarding passes are essential documents. DO NOT LOSE THEM. DO NOT pack your

passport in your suitcase; It must remain on your person during travel to and from countries.

As a safety measure, also photocopy the front page of your passport and visa. Leave one copy at home, and carry one copy with you separate from your passport. This will be of immense help to you if your documents are lost or stolen. It is also a good idea to have two extra copies of your

passport picture in case your passport must be replaced on the trip because of loss.

It is the responsibility of each traveler to ensure the validity of their passports and travel documents.  If your passport expires 6 months or less before the travel date, airlines will not allow you to travel.  Please ensure your travel documents are in order before your travel dates.  Renewal of a passport takes 4-6 weeks.

About Travel & Medical Insurance

Please note that we strongly recommended you use a third party insurance policy to protect your trip from loss.  Visit www.travelinsurance.com to shop a list of companies before you purchase. Our previous customers have worked with AIG Travel Guard & Travelers Insurance.  Should the trip be cancelled or your luggage lost, insurance can be helpful to recover losses. It is important to note that most travel insurance is useless unless your policy states that they cover a cancelled trip "FOR ANY REASON." Additionally, the purchase of medical insurance for the duration of our trip is highly recommended and encouraged. THIS INSURANCE POLICY COVERS YOU FROM UNEXPECTED LOSS.

We strongly reccomend a basic Medical Coverage travel policy.  In the unlikely event that you become ill in a foreign country, the costs could quickly add up.  Please know what your current insurance company covers and in which countries you might or might not be covered.

  • ETA-IL Application:The ETA-IL application is completed online and requires a fee of 25 NIS (approximately $7 USD), according to the Israeli government.

What you need to know about the Israel ETA

  • The Israel Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA), officially known as the ETA-IL, is a digital authorization that is now required for visa-exempt travelers planning to visit Israel.
  • Unlike a traditional visa, the Israel ETA does not involve an embassy visit or a physical stamp in your passport.
  • This ETA system is part of a larger trend where countries screen travelers before they arrive, thus increasing security at borders.
  • Designed specifically for short-term visits, the Israel ETA allows visa-exempt travelers to enter Israel for tourism, business, and other non-work-related activities.
  • Applicants should apply for the ETA at least 72 hours before their intended travel date to Israel.
  • Once approved, the ETA allows for multiple entries into Israel and remains valid for up to two years or until your passport expires, whichever comes first. Each visit can last up to 90 days.
