We strongly encourage our customers to purchase a trip insurance policy. Please make sure the policy covers trips cancelled "FOR ANY REASON." Reach out to your insurance company for compensation for a cancelled trip.
As you go thru the process of getting ready for your trip, we will be purchasing flights for your journey. Our desire is get everyone together on the same flight. However, that is not always possible as people often fly from different states to the tour destination. For persons traveling as a group, we will always include the information for the "ANCHOR FLIGHT." This is the date and time of our expected arrival time and the time we will leave our hotel for airport departure. Please note that if you purchase your own ticket and desire to be picked up from the airport upon arrival, you will need to coordinate your arrival time with this "Anchor Flight." If we act as your agent and purchase your flight, we will be sure to put you at the right airport at the correct time. If you purchase your own flight and do not fall within the Anchor Flight timeframe, you will be responsible for getting to the hotel on your own.
Please note that AIRLINES do not REFUND money for flights.
Don’t forget to bring your passport and your airline itinerary with ticket number! You will be traveling with E-tickets. After check-in, you will be given your boarding pass and airline ticket for your flight. Boarding passes are essential documents. DO NOT LOSE THEM. DO NOT pack your
passport in your suitcase; It must remain on your person during travel to and from countries.
As a safety measure, also photocopy the front page of your passport and visa. Leave one copy at home, and carry one copy with you separate from your passport. This will be of immense help to you if your documents are lost or stolen. It is also a good idea to have two extra copies of your
passport picture in case your passport must be replaced on the trip because of loss.
It is the responsibility of each traveler to ensure the validity of their passports and travel documents. If your passport expires 6 months or less before the travel date, airlines will not allow you to travel. Please ensure your travel documents are in order before your travel dates. Renewal of a passport takes 4-6 weeks.
Please note that we strongly recommend you use a third party insurance policy to protect your trip from loss. Should the trip be cancelled or your luggage lost, insurance can be helpful to recover losses.
Additionally, the purchase of basic medical insurance for the duration of our trip is highly recommended and encouraged. In the unlikely even that you become ill in a foreign country, the costs can quickly add up. Please study your current insurance policy to understand what might be or what might not be covered out of country. Our recommendation for insurance is SQUAREMOUTH INSURANCE GROUP at 800-240-0369.
Please note that the option "CANCEL FOR ANY REASON" policy option no longer is available for the country of Israel. When buying your Israel policy thru SQUAREMOUTH, you will be covered for "delayed or lost baggage, accidental death and dismemberment, illness, or the death of a family member, jury duty, or a natural disaster." Please note that your Israel insurance policy WILL NOT COVER WAR.
US citizens traveling to Israel for tourism or business for up to 90 days, must have an approved Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA-IL) or a valid visa before travel, starting January 1, 2025. The ETA-IL is a pre-travel authorization that streamlines entry.
